About SRM

Software Release Management (SRM) provides a solution for the identification and implementation of software updates. Software Updates include product correction notices (PCNs)*, software updates**, and firmware updates. The solution provides TriNET expertise to implement recommended updates that maximize performance of applications and minimize the risk of potential service disruptions .

TriNET will offer the Software Release Management solution as an affordable alternative for customers who want TriNET as their single point of accountability to manage the implementation of product updates. The Software Release Management solution allows customers to maintain authority while leveraging TriNET's expertise to manage change. Software Management includes:

  • Implementation Coordinator

  • PCN Notification*

  • Software Update Scheduling

  • Software Update Qualification

  • Software Update Implementation

* PCN support is determined by current maintenance contract

** Software updates do not include major upgrade releases
